White Rice

Ingredients

1 tsp butter
1 cup rice; Texmati
1/2 tsp salt
1 3/4 cups water

Directions

1. Melt butter in a saucepan, add rice and salt and stir to mix. Toast rice until you can smell fragrant aroma of the toasted rice.

2. Add water and bring to a boil.

3. Cover pan, reduce heat to low and simmer 15 minutes.

4. Remove from heat and let stand (covered) 5 minutes.

Fluff with a fork and serve.
