White Sauce

Ingredients

2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 cup milk; room temperature
1/8 tsp salt
1 dash pepper

Directions

1. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour, salt and pepper until smooth.

2. Gradually whisk in milk . Bring to a boil: cook and stir until thickened, 1 to 2 minutes.

Serve or use immediately.
