Fettuccini Alfredo

Ingredients
6 tbsp butter
1 cup whipping cream
1 cup parmesan cheese; fresh, grated
1 pinch nutmeg; grated
parsley; chopped
fettuccine
Directions
1. Bring water to a boil. Add pasta and cook till done, about 9 minutes.
2. Start sauce by melting butter, add cream and allow them to simmer for a few moments.
3. Drain pasta and blend with the cream mixture while still under heat. Toss together, remove from heat and add cheese, nutmeg, and parsley.
Finish tossing and serve.
Notes:
Some ingredients may be varied, reduce the cheese amount and increase cream or butter for thinner sauce.
Narrow or medium ribbon, oval string, small pillow and shell type pasta can also be used.
