Ingredients

2 lb ground beef
3 cups water
6 oz tomato puree
2 med onions; diced
1 tbsp cinnamon
3 tbsps chili powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 1/2 tbsps white vinegar
1 tsp garlic powder
Spice Pouch:
35 alspice seeds
4 bay leaves
4 red peppers; dried

Directions

1. Brown ground beef and drain grease.

2. Combine all ingredients, except spice pouch, in large saucepan.

3. In a tea ball or cheese cloth make spice pouch.

4. Simmer 3-4 hours.

Serve over spaghetti and/or hot dogs topped with cheddar cheese.

Note:
Depending on how spicy you like it, variances can be made with the cayenne pepper, red peppers and chili powder
