Ingredients

2 pound ground beef; do not brown
2 cups onion; chopped
1 quart water
2 cans (8 oz) tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
4 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 ounce unsweetened chocolate
2 tablespoon vinegar
1 each bay leaf
2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
4 drops tabasco sauce

Directions

Combine ground beef, onions and water. Simmer together for 30 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for 2 to 3 hours until thickened. Refrigerate overnight. Remove bay leaf.

Cook thin spaghetti as directed. To serve, put spaghetti on each plate. Cover with heated Cincinnati Chili. Sprinkle with lots of shredded cheddar cheese. (Traditional "3 way")

For "5 way" add a layer of hot beans and fresh chopped onion under the cheese. Serve with oyster crackers.
